The organization's key tasks include: formulating competition rules to promote fair competition; cultivating future young talents through the introduction of global standardized educational systems; promoting inter-country interaction through continuous international competitions.
FIDA currently has 20 member countries. FIDA will host the first Drone Football World Cup in Jeonju, South Korea, in October 2025.
Drone Football Rules:
1. The competition will use the 20cm drone football and controllers provided by the organizing committee, so teams do not need to prepare their own.
2. Each team consists of 5 players, who can form teams across age groups and genders. Each player controls a drone football.
3. Both teams control their drone footballs using radio remote control to quickly fly and move them on the field, aiming to score by passing through the opponent's circular goalposts. They attack and defend against each other within the limited game time, and the team that scores more goals wins.
4. During the competition, players must follow the rules and cannot use illegal means to interfere with the progress of the game. Once an individual is found to interfere with the progress of the game, their team's performance will be disqualified.
