Taobao's virtual car test drive function will officially launch on September 9, and some users have already received beta testing invitations. It is reported that the project is implemented by Taobao through its self-developed engine technology to achieve 3D rendering effects.

Previously, Taobao had launched a formal version application called Vision Pro. This app allows users to project products onto the real world and accurately display them at a 1:1 scale. When users drag the product out and place it on a flat surface, Vision Pro will automatically make it adhere to the surface and present realistic light and shadow effects, even allowing multiple products to be displayed for comparison. This function is particularly important for categories such as furniture, household appliances, and clothing, as users can actually feel the size and matching of the products.

In addition, Vision Pro also supports virtual interaction functions. For example, direct virtual control can be performed during the demonstration of drones, and the product functions such as obstacle avoidance can be shown through virtual reality technology. The upcoming virtual car test drive function may bring virtual driving experiences, allowing users to get a rough idea of the car's handling feel without leaving their homes.

It should be noted that this function is only applicable to users who have Taobao Vision Pro devices.
