On November 13, during the 15th China Airshow, United Aircraft launched the world's first 6-ton tiltrotor aircraft - LanYing R6000. This aircraft can achieve long-distance point-to-point unmanned logistics transportation, can be used for both cargo and passenger transportation, and can even achieve long-distance unmanned driving with a person on board.

The LanYing R6000 has a maximum takeoff weight of 6 tons, a payload of 2 tons, and can take off and land in helicopter mode without the need for an airport runway. During cruise, the rotor tilts into fixed-wing mode, and the maximum speed reaches 550 kilometers per hour, breaking the speed limit of traditional helicopters. At the same time, it can connect locations that are 4,000 kilometers apart without transferring.

The LanYing R6000 features folding propellers, wing folding, and rotor tilt functions. At today's press conference, as the operator gave the command, the horizontal wings began to fold at a 90° angle until they were stacked on top of the fuselage, greatly reducing the demand for take-off and landing space. Meanwhile, the LanYing R6000 also demonstrated the dynamic process of the rotor tilting from a helicopter mode to a forward tilt, which is a key step in increasing the speed of the aircraft during flight.

Tian Gangyin, chairman and president of United Aircraft Group, introduced that the safety of the LanYing R6000 has reached the civil aviation level, with a failure rate of less than 10 to the negative ninth power, and will complete the certification for airworthiness to ensure the safety of people and goods. The flying vehicle is managed by an intelligent airspace command and control system to unify the management of space and time resources, achieving fully autonomous flight, simplifying the operation process, and making it possible to fly after a short training period. The cost of the LanYing R6000 has been greatly reduced through means such as scaled production.

In addition to the LanYing R6000, the flagship drone, aircraft, and onboard equipment of the United Aircraft Corporation were also on display at the air show. The TD550 and TD220, two large payload drones, were particularly eye-catching. The TD550, with a maximum payload of 200 kg and the ability to operate at high altitudes, has already been put to rich use in logistics and cargo transportation, emergency rescue, and other fields. It successfully completed material delivery, communication relay, and flood reconnaissance missions in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Anhui Huangshan, and Guangxi.

The multi-rotor drone Q100 agricultural drone was officially released for the first time as a new product, which integrates spraying, broadcasting, transportation, and aerial survey functions into one. It has a maximum payload of 65 kg and is equipped with intelligent upgrades for seeding, fertilizing, spreading medicine, aquaculture, and transporting agricultural products, which solves the problem of a shortage of agricultural technicians.

Additionally, the Leiming Q20 drone has become a new favorite in urban and rural logistics. In July this year, it successfully completed the first trial run of "air-to-air cargo transportation" for Wuxiang peaches, a local specialty in Chongqing, reducing the 2-hour mountain road journey to just 8 minutes.
