On November 25, 2024, DJI Agriculture officially released a total of three agricultural UAs in the T100 and T70 series, which have integrated new AI and AR functions to further improve safety and meet various operational scenarios such as spraying, spreading, and lifting. Among them, the T100 is the new flagship agricultural UAV, with a spraying load of 75 kg, a spraying capacity of 150 liters, and a lifting capacity of 85 kg. The T70 series of agricultural drones is more affordable, but the performance is also much improved than the previous generation of flagship T60 agricultural drones; The T25P agricultural drone, released last year, also continues to be sold.

T100 Agricultural Unmanned aircraft: New flagship with a spray load of 75 kg

T100 agricultural unmanned aircraft is the highest efficiency in DJI's agricultural history, the largest rated takeoff weight, the most advanced safety system, and the first flagship agricultural UAV equipped with AI and AR functions. It has a maximum take-off weight of 149.9 kg and has a 75 litre spraying capacity and 150 litre seeding capacity and 85 kg lifting capacity. Using a coaxial twin rotor configuration, with higher safety redundancy, 62 inch carbon fiber blades, powerful, single axis maximum pull 82 kg, can achieve a maximum speed of 13.8 m/s flight. This means that whether it is load, configuration, performance, it meets the standard of full load flagship class.

In order to cope with the complex farmland environment and ensure the safety of the flying hand and the surrounding people and vehicles, the T100 has upgraded the security system to the "top configuration". Equipped with new LiDAR and active phased array radar, it can sense and accurately identify surrounding obstacles in all directions. The density of space point clouds captured by LiDAR can reach 300,000 per second, which can fine depict the boundary of obstacles, effectively improve the recognition rate of cable-stayed lines and wires, and provide a full view of small obstacles in the field. With the new five-eye fish-eye vision system, it can sense the environment 360 degrees in real time, and provide real-time warning through the remote control to ensure the safety of take-off. During the operation process, the surrounding obstacles can be observed in real time and the obstacle screen in any flight direction can be automatically displayed.

The new AI algorithm can automatically identify obstacles encountered in the operation and save the information of the plot, improve the efficiency of the same plot and fly over the safety. It also has the ability to escape after avoiding obstacles, and can automatically resume work without operation after braking. At the same time, this year also added an AR safety assistance function to detect people and cars around when taking off and landing, and timely remind the flying hand to pay attention to the surrounding environment. The AR flight path can also be generated during the operation to help the pilot predict the direction of the aircraft. The safety landing projection is added to ensure the smoothness of landing. New AI and AR features provide comprehensive safety to avoid accidental injuries. In addition, the T100 continues the no-aerial survey function, which can achieve a maximum 90 degree mountain climb to meet the operational needs of most orchards.

Pesticide spraying is the most common use of agricultural drones, T100 spray load 75 kg, the maximum flow rate of the twin nozzle is increased to 30 liters per minute, the droplet particle size is 50 to 500 microns adjustable, no need to add to meet the large flow operation scenario. For users with thick canopy of fruit trees, four water-cooled mist sprinklers can be selected, the flow rate is as high as 40 liters per minute, and the dual-motor water-cooled structure is durable, and the particle size of fog droplets can be up to 10 microns, and the fog droplets are uniform and fine, and the operation efficiency is outstanding.

In terms of seeding, the T100 seeding system has a capacity of 150 liters and can distribute two bags of fertilizer at a time. With a new generation of helical winch, the flow rate is doubled to 400 kg per minute, the winch motor torque is doubled, supporting high-speed seeding, and the overall operating efficiency is increased by 70%. It can be replaced by four kinds of Hank, suitable for a variety of particles, and more accurate spreading.
